any good fantasy/romance book recommendations?

Well no idea who Krantz is (had to bing it) but I always recommend "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones

"Threshold" was an interesting book to read. Not often you find a book with ancient magic, redemption, and a glass pyramid all mixed together. "Entreat Me" and "Eidolon," are fascinating takes on the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale. "The Storyteller's Daughter" was one of my faves as a teen. It's a retelling of "Arabian Nights." "The Secret of Dragonhome" has been a beloved classic for me since age 15. "Sign of the Crescent" was a surprisingly good book, (and no, it's not a middle-eastern story at all). There's an anthology I've read many times called "Dragon Lovers'" though the only story I truly like in there is "Anna and the King of Dragons."
