The reviews of this movie, on the whole, are entirely negative.
But it really isn't too bad a rainy Sunday afternoon movie.
I know, I know, the flaws, acting, direction all leave plenty to be desired, but the actual idea of the movie isn't too bad, don't know if it is possible or not, but that isn't really the point with a disaster movie, is it?

I liked it my self and the catagory 7 as well the whole series is good... If u liked it check out one called 10.5 & 10.6 i think
shareI remember watching this the night it aired on TV the first time and loving it. I couldn't wait for part two (half was shown on Sunday night and half on Wednesday). I'll always have a special place in my heart for disaster movies! I'm still waiting on Hollywood to make a big scale disaster movie and it be legitimately good.

Nothing can ever beat " the towering inferno " or " earthquake" for being a cult status of disaster movies
