Benny started posting when R_Kane left and stopped posting when he returned. I wonder why?🤣
shareI have thought about that myself. Don't forget that there was that "Harvey Manfriendsin" (I know I botched the spelling on it) poster, who was all over these boards for a period of time and then just one day disappeared (and has yet to return). So many of his posts were so verbose and confusing that it hurt my head to read them.
After Harvey stopped posting, Benny started. Two completely different styles of posting...but I've wondered if they were somehow related?
It's a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
We get some oddballs here from time to time, I wonder how many were the same weirdos with different handles.
He botched the naming as well (the character's which he based it on is slightly different). Harvey was much more agenda/debate-driven, if that makes any sense. Benny is more about sheer volume of posts with very little attention paid to acknowledging responses.

Yes, both you and Shogun have been here much longer than I have, so I definitely will defer to both of you on this. It just struck me odd with the timing...there may have been some overlap with Harvey and Benny, but not much.
It fascinates me how some people can be so active posting on a message board (like this one), but then stop posting cold turkey. Everybody's got a story...it just makes me wonder sometimes what happened to certain posters.
Thanks for the thoughtful response! Indeed, over the years we've had people come and go (and come back again, sometimes under different aliases). Sometimes life intercedes and one needs to take some time off. Who knows, maybe Benny finally found his soulmate at long last.
