I enjoy watching him talk, how he expresses quiet optimism regarding the curveballs of life.

Today actors and other celebrities become political and sometimes literal whores to galvanize their flagging careers. Bob just trudged on with his under the surface optimism and didn’t compromise his values.

He did win it in the late innings. While maintaining his personal dignity, his gentleman stature and his professional pride.

Truly a rare and sadly a dying breed.
