Is the HP Pavilion 14 or Dell XPS 13 better ?

I’ll be needing a laptop for school almost everyday next year so I need to get a better laptop, so between these two laptops which are better ? I’m looking for one that is good for light gaming as well such as overwatch and which has a better battery life.
