Changing file sizes in iMovie

First off, I know very little about iMovie, so I don't even know where to start. I'm working on a couple projects for school, and the videos we upload are supposed to be no bigger than 150MB. Mine are 2.35GB, so I need to condense them. What's the easiest way to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
