Anyone here ever play Nationstate, the country simulation game?

Back in the mid 2000's I use to play around with https://www.nationstates.net/ which is a country simulation game. You can create what ever kind of country you want whether it be a tyranny or communist or socialist or liberal, conservative or progressive or communal or capitalist. You make your laws, amendments and standards of law etc and then sit back and watch it unfold.

I tried a mixture of methods.
I tried different methods of all extremes and no matter what I did it always ended up screwed up.
I have come to the conclusion that there is no perfect way to rule a country but there are some less effective and less desirable ways than others. For sure.
But it might be fun to try it again.

I used to play this a few years ago, Forgot my nation name and email for it though. Must be some sort of mega power by now.

No such luck "This nation was deleted by a moderator and cannot be restored."

I also have forgotten my old password and sign in info..

A few of my nations were "Afterglow" (very liberal) and "Kathleen's Windy Farts" (an oppressed tyranny)...but they're long gone too.

I created about 5 or 6 countries trying to see if I could figure out the domino effect of different decisions.
Many outcomes were unforeseen.

I took a guess at my nation name and it was ok but obviously too late. I might start another account through the week. Give me a shout

Yeah, I'll probably have another go. I'll let you know..

Nope. I played Democracy 3, though, and it's a very interesting game about politics and government. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRS5p60yX_E

Democracy 3 is likely more itemized and specific since it's not free but the idea is the same. Since Nationstate is free it might be worth checking out.
