Since this is all hypothetical, I'll say I wish Mort Sahl would have directed. He wrote 22 movies, but none were ever made. First sale was to Clint Eastwood (but it wasn't made because Mort refused to do a 2nd treatment without pay). Looking at old newspapers, they announced "The Last Anchorman" (Gregory Peck, Meryl Streep) to come out in 1978, but it never happened.

shareI've never heard of any of the people you mentioned except for Sydney Sweeney, so I looked them up. The first three are teenage girls, ranging in age from 13 to 17. Why would you want to see a movie directed by a teenybopper?
I don't know why anyone would want to see a movie directed by someone who not only has never directed before, but also has done nothing to indicate that they would be any good at it, but if I were to choose someone like that, it certainly wouldn't be someone whose brain won't even be fully developed until about the year 2036. It would at least be someone who is well into adulthood and who has been in the movie industry for longer than my bottle of Worcestershire sauce has been in the refrigerator.
