🎥MovieChat MovieClub Event: Friday/Saturday Features #48🍿

I’m late but I got a reason: I was trying to finish Anotherday’s podcast with Miss K!! Lol
Also, to welcome my real life friend RedWolf, he picked the movie for Saturday’s late night.

Enjoy!

This Movie Party will allow two things to happen:

-people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.

Holy shit that is none other than Woody Strode!

How the hell did they get him in this pos??

reply

LET IT BE KNOWN....SCREAM (1981) IS SO BAD....BORING!...WES CRAVEN WAS JUSTIFIED IN STEALING THE TITLE AND BURYING THIS TURD A LITTLE DEEPER IN THE GRAVE OF TIME.

reply

Yeah, it’s certainly been boring.

reply

HERE IS A SOLID REVIEW FOR SCREAM (1981)

"First of all, this movie should only be seen by die hard slasher fans. And I mean, those who can stand almost 90 minutes of mediocrity, terrible cinematography, boring plot, and stupid characters. Yes, there is a "mysterious" killer but that isn't enough."

reply

SPOILERS...I GUESS....BE HONEST THOUGH....WHO THE FUCK CARES?...THIS MOVIE SUCKS...

The killer is never seen. It was never fully explained who was behind the murders. It's possible it was a super natural force in relation to the black cowboy, or his trinket figures could have been involved.

Credited Kills.

1) Middle aged male hung
2) Middle aged male killed (method unknown)
3) Elderly male killed with hatchet
4) Male teen thrown through door
5) Male teen killed (method unknown)
6) Male decapitated with axe
7) Middle aged male killed with scythe.

reply

The film grossed $1,083,395 by the end of its run.

THIS SAD OLD MAN DIARRHEA MADE A MILLION BUCKS....WOW...THAT MAKES ME DEPRESSED.

reply

Upon its theatrical release in 1986 in New York City, the New York Daily News panned the film as "numbingly inept", adding that it "not only squanders 81 minutes' worth of perfectly good film stock", but also wastes the talents of actors Worden, Strode, and Moore.

reply

The movie Scream (1981) is also known as “The Outing” or “The Lamp” in some regions.

The film features a cameo appearance by Casey Kasem, who was a popular radio personality at the time.
