My cat just chills with me wherever I am. I always have the tv on when I'm home, I sleep with the tv on too, and even if it's on loudly, she's never bothered by it. Just curls up next to me purring away.

If this were the other way around, and my cat had cat tv on with cats reading cat news and cat crime shows with cats just meowing constantly I'd dump her the first chance I got and become a stray for some peace.

Our pets just don't seem to notice it at all 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Yes, I've had a tot of vino, but still a valid point I think 🤔

Lol.

My cat used to wake me up by knocking things off my dresser, and poking me in the face. I still loved the little shit. But do you think he appreciated it when I would knock things off surfaces near him or poking him in the face when he was sleeping.

Your cat is a lot nicer and more social than some cats I've met. Many cats prefer to be off on their own somewhere in the house or outside. Sometimes they'll hang out with any other cats in the house, if they like each other, and some will hang out with their owners for part of the day, and by themselves for the other part of the day.

I love my Rose, she's my tortoise shell kitty and she's probably around 11 or 12 and she used to have Oscar who was my long hair orange tabby and he passed away in Feb 2023

I get it! When I read in bed, my two cats each sit on one side. The big heavy one likes to get as close as possible mostly sitting on my chest.
