QWho - Rewatching this incredible show - bothered by scale of ships and windows bothers me.

Having rewatched STTNG many many times, I always wonder about the windows on the ship. There are massive windows on the models and the oval shaped windows are far too large on the model than depicted in the show.

Also, with scale. The Borg ship should be enormous but it shown as slightly larger than the Enterprise during the chase in QWho which always bothers me.

Expecting scientific accuracy out of this franchise is less gainful than anticipating Kendall Jenner winning The Nobel Prize in physics anytime soon

Haha yes yes...but there are all kinds of technical manuals and facts. I just don't get the scale of the ships.

Perhaps this'll be explained in the final few episodes of Picard. Make Of Life knows, that series could benefit immensely from an ounce of redemption

In "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", when they come out of the hatch and walk around on top of the main saucer of the Enterprise, I remember being disappointed at how undersized it was depicted. It's supposed to be a few hundred meters in diameter, but in that scene only looks about fifty meters across. This is something that could be retroactively fixed with CGI.

I have seen STTMP dozens of times. I never noticed this but will check it out on next watch. To me, STTMP is a masterpiece and still the best in the series.
