The 'wokeness' of the new 60th anniversary series

Just some observations (and using term 'woke' bc its just the term to use these days for issues on race, sexuality, etc) I have no feeling either way on these issues in fact I expect it to be 'woke' bc DrWho (like star trek) has always been progressive/pushed boundaries and RTD was behind some very risk taking/controversial series previously. I thoroughly enjoyed all the episodes especially the finale ep

Ep1 - trans Rose, the alien's pronouns, disabled woman in charge of UNIT (who kicks ass)
Ep2 - PoC Issac Newton, Tennant Doctor is revealed as gay (or bi)
Ep3 - Black doctor (taking charge instantly and showing white doctor how to do everything, usually the previous doctors take a few episodes to get with it after the trauma of regeneration: shades of 'mary sue' Rey in Force Awakens etc ), mental health issues with Tennant Doctor/gives up being 'the doctor' (shades of Luke in Last Jedi)
