Why do I like the daughter so much?

Her rebelling to his farther Cal (though most time for the wrong), her mixed looking of innocence and pretense when she tried to fool the Dad, her annoyance and vexation with her parents, all seem right to the show.

The daughter character definitely is an apple that did not fall far from the tree. She is truly a product of both parents. It's an interesting dynamic. She's very much a perfect match to her father's quippy and quirky temperament. She (and maybe Dr. Foster) seem to be the only females that can handle Cal. Even his wife left him. I wonder if anyone could sustain such verbal quipping in real life. He's a handful.
