Actually quite good Sci-Fi

It was quite slow at times, but I stuck with it, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sissy Spacek and J.K. Simmons were a joy to watch playing their parts, which they did so well.

I'm really looking forward to where Season 2 takes us after the surprises we got in the Season 1 finale.

Go on, give it a go.

I'm Deckard B26354, I'm filed and monitored.

Never heard of it.

It was filmed between June and September last year, and it popped up on Amazon Prime last week.

Like I said it can be a bit slow at times, but it's well worth a look at if you like a bit of Sci-fi.

Cool, thanks!

I really enjoyed it. It's a slow burner, but very interesting. After the season 1 finale I watched last night I'm definitely looking forward to season 2.

I found the reveals to be dragged out a bit too much. You can sort of tell they were low on plot and just trying to get people hooked on the series in order to sell season 2 and beyond. They've built a good framework after episode 6 (where I am) but they need more filler and maybe a bit quicker pacing. I assume they will get a bigger writing budget in season 2 if it goes that far. They already have 3 or 4 subplots that could easily be expanded on.

This is very much a slice of life sci-fi and most people's lives, especially older folks, have lives that are slowing down. The two stars have done most of the heavy lifting in regards to entertainment and you would need to be an older person to relate to most of that. I'm not there yet but I'm getting there and I can relate to the feelings they are throwing off.

I think we can blame the pacing on the budget

It was enjoyable, one of the easier shows to keep watching without taking a break. Hopefully Season 2 answers some more questions and gives us more time on the planet.

I'm at Episode 4 and really enjoy the chemistry between J.K. and Sissy. I'm younger than both but I can relate to the underlying theme of mortality as both of my parents are in their twilight years. I also appreciate the pacing even though many would criticize it as unnecessary.

It’s been cancelled, no season 2 to come.
