I liked this movie, it was a lot of fun. I can see some 'woke' criticism, I'm curious...

Was England a hundred years ago this racially progressive? Or is there a bit of retrofitting in this film?

The wonderful character of 'Woman Police Officer Moss' was played by an Indian actress, but she does not have an Indian name. There are three prominent black characters, one of whom is a judge. Pardon my ignorance, I would assume England was like the USA and was surprised to see this.

In any case, this movie had me smiling and laughing. I see definitely it was geared more toward women but I really enjoyed it as a man.

I can also anticipate some criticism in this as portraying the male cops as stumbling fools and the poor little woman is the smart hero who comes to the rescue.
