Chicago Fire is still my favorite of the Chicago shows

The drama gets tedious sometimes, but I really love the characters on the show. It's a very likable cast.

Also, the action scenes, constrained by a TV budget, tend to be scaled down to reality. If Chicago Fire was a movie, the whole city would be on fire with huge plumes of smoke everywhere. Not so here, where a fireman can save someone or get killed without facing the after effects of an almost nuclear explosion. To me, that seams true to life.

I like it but not a fan of the "evil Boss" story lines, looks like this season will be an other with a lot of Bureaucracy drama etc..

good cross over with the other 2 shows, but i like PD a little more.

I wish Fire had the syndication that PD does. I watch PD in reruns all the time, and have really come to enjoy it, but Fire is how I got started, and since they aren't always in these heavy, crime-ridden dramatic situations, the characters get to have more relaxed time together, which is fun. Usually the fires and car accidents are accidental so we aren't drawn into these bad people in bad situations. The minor characters have a bit more humanity, imo. And I like Molly's.

But I’d REALLY hate to see Detroit shows.
