If you take the Halo out of it, it's a pretty good sci-fi series

Very enjoyable if you ignore the fact that it's Halo. Feels comparable to Firefly or Battlestar Galactica in a way. All drama or action, no woke BS stuff. The reason why I said that is because this series takes the mystery of 117 and throws it out the window. In the game he never takes his helmet off or if he does, you never see his face so it puts you the player or watcher as it being anyone, even you perhaps. I wish they made Cortana a bit hotter but I do like her persona and voice. Episode 3 is when it really picks up the goodness of the series so far. I like how they went sort of the HBO route where you get to see the private bits to some degree.
