SPOILER: Final Episode Question

I know the final episode was never meant to be a finale. Friend of mine were talking about it since it just ran on syndication the other day. He heard that it was intended for Flo to be a plant by Mark Collins to break the team up from the inside so he could get his revenge on them during a story arc in season 5. It kind of makes sense because that's what she accomplished. If so then the series ended with him succeeding.

Does anyone know if there is any truth to this or is just another rumor?
