Jesus, what is Hollywood's obsession with the "Devil" and "Possession" that they make so many of these dumb movies?? Has Hollywood really run out of ideas or what??

Especially when the trailer is implying that a human woman is going to be impregnated with Damien, rather than a jackal

Good point, that doesn't even fit the canon established by The Omen, but it DOES perfectly fit the canon of Rosemary's Baby!

I don't think Millennial and Gen Z audiences could have handled the jackal mother business. Their reactions would have been all "Dude! WTF!?!"

I was going to say, Damien's back story is different than Rosemary's Baby. Sounds like they are retconning to make it more like that movie. Not surprised.
