Why are so many of these shows waiting over 2 years to come out with another season?

Much of the cast keeps forgetting their lines so many scenes have to keep getting rehearsed, which pushes back production. I heard Daniel is the worst

This show isn't so bad, it's basically had 1 season per year. Stranger Things on the other hand debuted in 2016, and it's only had 4 seasons. It features a young cast, and it's a period peace.
