Isn't it obvious in the first film? The repeated narrative around Pandora's nature that is all current and past living organism is still connected within Eywa. They try to transfer her mind to Navi body and failed but that doesn't mean its gone. I guess she just hangin around in the Eywa for a little while.
for me the best Depp as detective is Constable Ichabod Crane in Sleepy Hollow. I missed his Ichabod character which for me is his best role of all his characters he played.
