The best way to rescue Award shows is taking them all to YouTube.

People still enjoy very much award shows but don’t watch them because people rarely watch Tv anymore.

So if they were taken to YouTube which is the new tv more people would see them.

The last MTV Movie and tv awards had horrible ratings and yet were trending topic on social media. That means the problem is not awards but where they show them.

My mom says her main source of entertainment is YouTube my uncles too. So I really think all award shows at least all which are supposed to to hip and fun should now go YouTube.

Personally I did want to watch The MTV Movie and tv awards because EndGame was nominated and so was RDJ but forgot to see it because I rarely watch tv anymore I’m more on my tablet and yeah my main source of video is YouTube and sometimes IMDb.

So why not putting the prestigious awards on IMDB and the cool and relaxed on YouTube.

But yeah the problem of award shows is not the awards per se but how we see them if we saw them on YouTube at anytime we want people would watch them more.

I think most people don't watch award shows, who previously did, don't watch because the shows themselves are a parody of what they used to be. They used to reward GOOD performances and films. Now, they just seem to award films with political agendas.

That kind of thing can only be made better by going back to basics, not by going to other means of broadcasting.

That’s another good point and also they barely nominate films which people saw.

The year Bohemian Rhapsody was nominated the Oscars ratings went up a little bit and that’s because miraculously it was a year with good films.

People watched the Oscars that year because the nominated films were friendly to general audiences.
The green book was a little corny but still fun to watch and entreteining, Bohemian Rhapsody was a rush of energy, I left the theater quite energized and excited, and Black Panther was a great action adventure experience.

So they need to nominate more films people care to watch
