Small musicals with lots of dance

Please help me... respond with list of musicals with small casts (12 or less) that have lots of dance. Asking for a friend. Thx!

Can't think of any of the top of my head, but Google might be of a help

There are big musicals that probably could be done on a smaller scale that include a good amount of dance. Hello Dolly! could probably be done with a small ensemble. A Chorus Line is basically a small show, despite all the cut dancers in the opening. I'm not sure exactly how, but I'm sure you could cut them down. Once On This Island could probably be done rather small. Merrily We Roll Along is another that can be done on the small side. Chicago, too.

Ooh! And Dames at Sea is three people.

Thanks! I sent the suggestions to my friend.... the show has to be "somewhat" family friendly (not too roque) as well: my picks were:

1. 13
2. Once on this Island
3. The Fantasticks (but this one does not have much dance in it, unless incorporated.... the mute and a few other numbers)

I may have my friend talked into THE FANTASTICKS and reimagined with much more dance elements interwoven in the poetry of the show.

I think Dames has 6 people.

How about these threes with three one act mucicals. Contact could be done with a cast of a dozen. 3hree has a small cast but I don't recall if there is much dancing. The second and third acts of The Apple Tree could emphasize dance elements.

A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine is an excellent choice.

Yes, of course, haha. Three men and three women, not just three total!
