Only a few holes left to patch now, one of them being the lack of an Ignore feature. And of course, we need more users - but hopefully that comes with time as well.

You were my first notification, vandyvch.

I have to agree with you on that!

Cheers indeed!

Is that COOL or what?

Honestly I don't understand why IMDb never implemented it. I always hated logging into my e-mail and then seeing a reply and then having to log into my IMDb account to respond to the reply.

Amen.

It's super sufficient and beneficial, isn't it? Except after being absent for merely 2 days, I have 40 notifications which looks and feels daunting. I feel like a student again buried under overdue tasks. God help me.

reply

So tough being popular is it? :p
Hey, at least you know people replied whereas without it you'd have to comb through them all over again, and we just came out of those stone ages. Man, people won't believe us when we even said we went without an "edit" button, hah

Oops, I realize this now gave you 41 notifications!

reply

Haha, I don't think it's so much to do with popularity but more so to do with excessive posting on my part :) But yes it's much easier to locate responses. Before the notifications feature, I had to enter my profile, click on every link to all my posts and threads, and ctrl + f (insert Babetron) to find anything. Gruesome task at that.

What I'm most dreading in doing is heading into the 'Your Names' thread that I created. /cry

I have a silly, relentless urge in replying to the majority of responses. Why do I do this to myself? ^^

Tis' the message boarders conundrum, it happens to the best of us! We're all our own mini-Frankenstein-posters, hehehe....good luck!

reply

I actually like getting them here instead of my email which was def clogged due to.
