11. 22. 63. I have the miniseries on DVD. It's not as fantastic as the book, but it was pretty darn good!
North and South, This is the 1985 miniseries with Patrick Swayze and Kirstie Alley among a huge cast of stars. There was also a N&S part 2 and a part 3. Part 3 wasn't nearly as good as the first two.
Roots, the 30thAnniversary Edition.
I got all three of my miniseries collections from Walmart. They are all excellent and provide hours of good entertainment and insight.

I recommend the Battlestar Galactica reboot mini-series. (I also watched the full seasons that followed it, but don't recommend them. You get 95% of the best BSG had to offer in the mini-series.)
