As a performer, singer and overall cultural icon. MJ is amazing of course but Beyonce is on a league of her own.

Let me know when Beyonce sells 70 million copies of one album. She has yet to release a classic, influential album that has entered pop culture the way Thriller has. On that album alone there are half a dozen classic songs: Billie Jean, Beat It, Thriller, The Girl Is Mine, Human Nature and Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'. Beyonce doesn't have one classic track in her entire back catalogue, let alone an album containing six of them.

You can’t even compare the two. Michael Jackson had success started as a young child in the Jackson 5 then he had success when he struck out on his own. Not many people can do that. Even now after his death he still makes sales.
