I believe what he said was true, though he probably should have kept it to himself if only for the sake of personal appearance. Aka he should have known it would blow up in his face

I just think Jared needs to rethink his twitter postings. It seems to go straight from his head to the world with no common sense filter in between. His recent tweets that insult people, from Silverstone to Jolie to Beiber, are childish and mean-spirited. His tweet about Hoffman was that as well as insensitive, rude, and arrogant.

If nothing else, sympathy for Hoffman's family is called for. Drug addiction is a scourge. Using the words Jared did, mere hours after the man died, was a stupid thing to do. Jared should have thought about the impact of his words on friends and family of Hoffman. It was just a low-class thing to do.

I don't think Jared is a terrible actor. He's passable. But is far from being in the same league as Jensen, and certainly the Oscar-winning Mr. Hoffman as well.

Jared is a CW moron. His fame has gotten to his head. He can kiss his career after Supernatural goodbye. He seems very mean-spirited and no one likes that.

Just wait until something happens to one of his kids our his wife. . And Sr if somEone makes a twitter comment saying they can give a sh!t less about his family. . Than the moronic jackass will see how it feels! []

No! Never wish terrible things on innocent children! No family deserves that.

Jared's not stupid enough to do heroin so we won't be seeing him OD like PSH did. Jared's tweet was truthful & all you PSH bootlickers need to get lives & get off Jared's page!!!

Everyone is free to think whatever they wish, but it was extremely insensitive to tweet something like that and put it out on the internet. It will do more harm than good to his reputation and he will live to regret some of his more recent remarks. Yes he has a career with Supernatural for now...but I wouldn't be shocked if he disappears from public view the second it ends due to the fact he likely won't get hired again.

If Hollywood chooses to blackball him for calling an addict selfish but still find ways to let Gibson and Spike Lee make money then their priorities are far from in order.
