Where was the long alley walk filmed?

I'm guessing it was in the same area as the main street dance, but that's the one scene that has never been accounted for as far as where it was shot.

I think you're right. Looks to be the same place. Wherever it is, I wouldn't go there on a dark night! LOL.

it was filmed in the same place in Los Angeles, and you're right. don't go there at night. no ghosts or zombies to worry about, but with all the gangs it's a real good place to get shot to death.

it's far worse now than it was in 1983 and it was apparently pretty bad back then. the entire area was shut down and fenced and Los Angeles police guarded entrances and exits so no one could harm Michael or any of the cast

I wonder if the creepy house at the end of the video where Ola hides is in the same area? I have had dreams where it's near where I used to live. Such a creepy place!!!
