The 8 most bonkers Supernatural episodes ever, ranked

From DigitalSpy
------------------

Supernatural is quite the enigma. Die-hard fans who have stuck through its 12 seasons will know how much of a rich and thrilling joyride it has been for over a decade.

But for any Winchester noobs out there, it just sounds like the biggest load of absolute craziness ever put on screen.

With Sam and Dean returning for a 13th season later this year – including a Scooby-Doo cartoon crossover episode, no less – we've picked just eight of the weirdest Supernatural episodes so far.

8. 'Dog Dean Afternoon' (Season 9, Episode 5)
7. 'Hunteri Heroici' (Season 8, Episode 8)
6. 'Slumber Party' (Season 9, Episode 4)
5. 'Fallen Idols' (Season 5, Episode 5)
4. 'Monster at the End of This Book' (Season 4, Episode 18)
3. 'Changing Channels' (Season 5, Episode 8)
2. 'The Real Ghostbusters' (Season 5, Episode 9)
1. 'The French Mistake' (Season 6, Episode 15)

Do you agree with this list?
What's the weirdest episode of SPN you've ever seen?

reply

I would have to add Tall Tales to that list and maybe Monster Movie.

reply

I would also add Mystery Spot, especially for first time viewers that catch this episode as a stand alone.

reply

Yes Mystery Spot..how could I forget that one.

reply

Agree. Sam stuck in a time loop? Dean dying over and over? Definitely qualifies as a "bonkers" type episode.

reply

Yes! Tall Tales with the slow dancing alien and the whole vintage vampire movie vibe of Monster Movie.

reply

Not just that. But I'd say a supernatural Christmas. Drunken and from folk lore
