Observation about Sheldon's "You're in My Spot"

I just watched the fifth season episode again when Howard is given Sheldon's parking space. He didn't even have a car, but Sheldon didn't want anyone in "my spot!"

Of course his spot on the couch is well known. But he also pulled the "my spot" thing when they went to Antarctica. He did it again when the judge threw him in jail for contempt (the speeding ticket episode). He told someone in the jail cell "you're in my spot".

But I noticed that he had no spot in the cafeteria. They usually sat at the same table. But Sheldon sometimes sat on the right. Other times he sat on the left. At the Cheesecake Factory he was usually on the left side of the booth. In the Chinese restaurant, he sat on the right. I mean left and right from the audience's perspective.

Funny when he ate out, he had no favorite spot.

you forgot to mention his spot in the cinema where the acoustics are just right : )

Oh I forgot about that one! I do recall a scene in the movie theater where he kept changing seats to find the "sweet spot" before he realized that he had been sitting in it when he first sat down. Ha!

Also at Howard and Bernie's Thanksgiving dinner, he sat in a chair and didn't demand the end of the sofa as his "spot". Of course when Bernie's dad gave him a lot of beer he ended up on the sofa next to him. lol

I guess he turned his on-the-spectrum gastronomical attention to just eating..

Great observation - never noticed that!
