Does it seem to anyone else like Dany says "Screw it" and just uses him as a shield? Is that meant to be the case? Surprised I've not seen it commented on before

She wasn't really a fighter and he intentionally put himself between her and danger since that was his job. I have a lot of complaints about the later seasons of GoT, but this was a reasonable end for Jorah.

I always got the feeling she loved him as a friend - but never truly respected him. A very complicated relationship.
