First off if Jared Padalecki(it has to be) is gonna play Sam then why not the other, Second the animation is cheap and ridiculous. Talk about trying to rape fans for money. Complete and udder Garbage.....
Hey just my opinion but I hate Anime and think all of it should be burned and the dude playing Dean just needs to be fired he sucks, Hell kill the whole thing it's just Junk.

But for those of you who like the poor Anime junk and Supernatural then why would they start at the beginning of the original series ?
well I hope it dies a painful death.

First of all i'll say, I love the original series!!!! From the first ep to the last, i've been there!

I just watched the first Ep of the animated series. I'm suprised, but I don't mind it at all. If anything Jared Padaleckis voice as sam kind of feels out of place. Either way i still enjoyed it, not as much as the original series but i myself definately wouldn't label it pathetic, nor PATHETIC with 10 exclamation marks lol.

I'd say its something majority of supernatural fans will enjoy, or at least give a chance, i hope :)

Secondly, so this anime forces people to have sex against their will? Because that's what rape is, if not, then fans are not being raped for money.

Thirdly, copypasted from the other question asking why Jensen wasn't playing Dean:

Also, who says he doesn't want to voice Dean? He might not be available to work on it, if he's signed on to do other projects at the time recording is taking place they won't let him take time off to record Supernatural if it impacts negatively on said other projects.

Case in point, lets say Jensen was offered work on Storm Hawks and accepted, he signs a contract to work on Storm Hawks for a certain date.
Then an animation based on Supernatural is announced, but the only date available for recording is the same dates of Storm Hawks. There's a high chance Storm Hawks won't let Jensen take time off to film Supernatural because it fraks up their schedules and costs them money and Jensen can't tell them "hey I'm going to do Supernatural instead!" because he's signed a contract, actually, well he could, but contract's are legally binding and Storm Hawks would be very within their rights to sue him for breaking contract so unless he's a moron (and he doesn't come across as a moron) Jensen won't break contract.

Of course, Storm Hawks could be super nice and allow him time off, but extremely highly unlikely to happen.

National Treasure wouldn't allow Helen Mirren time off work when she was invited to have tea with the Queen in Buckingham Palace (and sorry to say, but Helen's a lot more famous than Jensen), so Jensen wouldn't be allowed time off a project either.

Also, if the reason he's not doing the show is because he doesn't want to, it's his choice. Just because one of the boys is doing something doesn't mean that the other has to as well."

And no, Jensen doesn't have a role on Storm Hawks, I just name-dropped the show because it's awesome.

As much as I hate to agree with someone who thinks the word "utter" is synonymous with bovine anatomy; the SPN Animation is really unwatchable. I don't think Jensen being involved would make it much better although about the only part of the show that allows me to watch another episode is Jareds involvement and even his lines can make me cringe from time to time.

The animation itself is kind of bad, and I mean it might be anime but I was joking while watching it "I can't believe they haven't worked a giant robot in to this yet." - until I got to a certain episode I won't spoil for everyone, it was no longer funny.

Giant robots, guys. Yes, its crap.

OK I'll admit. The Anime wasn't all that great. The main reason is the writers didn't try to make it their own. The reason the adaption of Witchblade was so well received is they took the premise loosely and went their own way. I was really expecting them to do the same with Supernatural. Anime can have some truely amazing writing. But as a service to the fans they kept to close to the series. And that harmed it. The original episodes were great, the remakes not so much. And the Robot was awesome.

I'm watching it in Japanese with English subtitles. English dubbed anime never feels right - whether it's the original TV show actors or not.
