as the 4th is such genius. and without the kids and paul rudd in it would have been amazing. should have been the part 3 ideas.

Yeah, I think it would have been better to have Moranis as the fourth but obviously he wasn't game. Maybe if it wasn't just a cameo he would have done it.

It would have made the same exact fucking numbers as this one did because truth is the only people going to see these films are mainly doing so because of the originals and nostalgia. It wasn't a smash hit with all the new demographics they assumed would watch it.
It should have been Venkman running for mayor and ghost trouble starting up at the same time which he is trying to quash so it doesn't interfere, and in the end he says fuck it and helps them beat the evil ghost.
