I dunno, these movies bore me

I don’t know if it’s the accents or the time periods or what it is but these Piorot movies just bore me to tears. Anyone else?

In the book it is in England

I liked the first two, looking forward to this one.

The second one I thought was kind of boring, but the first one, Murder on the Orient Express, was pretty good.

I'll see this one eventually but I'm not running out to the theater to watch it.

i think all 3 are pretty garbage. not saying that the books are top-shelf or anything..
but the older film versions reign superior.

It’s the bad writing.

Especially this one. I understand that during the seance they used less light because of the atmosphere. But why keep it so dark during the whole movie? Poirot is known for looking for details. Easier to find them in the dark, huh?

going for a horror vibe for the season.

First two were boring as hell.

I noticed long time ago that tv shows and movies can't translate that interest from books to screen. When you read books and paint picture in your head it all seems very mysterious and interesting. And then when they hire actors and retell in on screen - it feels incredibly boring.

There were Nero Wolf series, Perry Mason, Poirot. And it's always boring. And you can't blame it on one movie/tv series. I tried to watch Nero Wolf tv show. I felt bored and just dropped it. While I remember enjoying books.

Same with Poirot. Books are great. Movies are boring.
