Wasn't there a plan to combine the two teams (11 & 8) into one grand finale movie? Whatever became of that?
Exactly right.
He wasn't a tough guy in the Untouchables. He was a crack shot.
He decided to leave the series himself.
They never made it clear one way or the other.
For the record though: In real life swimming dogs do attract sharks. Apparently their swimming patter stimulates them like a distressed fish.
