Look at the current numbers even internationally it does not perform as well as the Godzilla movie. Even the deadline estimate is accurate, it is still much lower then the Godzilla movie, and it is hardly something to celebrate about. No, fuel load is based on passenger numbers. Otherwise it takes fuel to carry extra fuel, no airline is ever going to do that. This movie's budget was said to be $130m after tax credit according to Wikipedia, and "some have heard the production cost was even higher at $150 [million]", that is about the same as Barbie ($128–145 million), and higher than Oppenheimer ($100 million). So yeah, I think that is indeed what they were going for. I wouldn't say so. "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" is on a $135m budget, that is its numbers: https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl3351937793/?ref_=bo_da_table_4 "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" is on a $157m budget, but look at this: https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl1678869249/?ref_=bo_da_table_19 I would not call it a flop as yet, but it is hardly successful. Apparently the mind blowing twist is ... there is no twist. It is possible that Janis was a plastic wannabe, but was rejected, or she could have challenged Regina in some way. Either way I think Regina did a hatchet job on her and ruined her reputation, Janis became an outcast involuntarily because of it. There is a saying that hatred is not the opposite of love, indifference is, so in a way I think Regina was right, Janis was obsessed with her. It is really quite empty. I knew it, it seems Disney ruined another franchise. Disney, the franchise destroyer.
Required too much "ignore how implausible this is" - even for an action movie.
That is exactly the feeling when I was watching it.
