Yes, there is nudity.
No, this was my first time watching it. I'll skip the 2019 remake then.
Yes, the whole family is gathered around and we watched it together. Granny is here with her sewing circle and the children's choir from church is singing while watching the movie.
I thought this was going to be really disturbing and over the top exploitative, but it was actually fairly well made. Camille Keaton is fantastic, although the guys in the movie are just okay and can't measure up to her performance. There are some very effective and memorable moments. 7/10 is my rating.
I suspect kids know more than you think they do.
So far, Camille Keaton is very good and I respect her commitment to the role. The men in the movie aren't quite matching her and their performances aren't anywhere near as effective.
I'm pretty sure that most children nowadays know about pedophiles. Parents can explain to their children first about the potential consequences of doing nudity and help the child decide. Oprah's experiences, as sad and awful as they were, do not relate to the average child today.
I think children are smarter than you gave them credit for. Their parents can help them understand and make the decision.
