I guess I saw 'the show' as comedy and that the characters were really caricatures.
Judging is fun ain't it? It allows us to lower others in our eyes since we are unable to raise ourselves. Pete is a legend, and induction into their little club would not effect that at all. He's probably more famous due to their exclusion. F*** Cooperstown.
I've seen the show from start to finish but it's been some time and so I'm giving it another go. One thing that I notice is this: Quark and the other Ferengi are the targets of a remarkable amount of racism (speciesism?) In an early episode, S2 we see Quark ostensibly killed and Rom is beside himself. Odo and Sisco approach the innocent Rom who is understandably devastated and straight accuse him to be the murder, with no sensitivity to his plight. Why did they do this? To get information. It happens before they even ask him cursory questions about the incident. In other scenes many of the other characters address Rom, a good er, man, as well as the other Ferengi with much ire. I never noticed it before but it jumps out at me this time around. They are not unfamiliar with the general nature of the Ferengi yet they act as if the behaviors of those Ferengi on the space station are not just intolerable but especially so, and this after Sisco admittedly blackmailed Quark into staying.

It's wonderful that they filmed this. All the way up to at least the 1980s The Beatles were the most photographed group of all time, perhaps still. The Concert On The Rooftop is also a great watch which I go back to every few years. I feel so lucky that we have that, and soon Let It Be the film. Still haven't watched Get Back if you can believe that. Of course it was the working title of Let It Be as well.
Next time I watch I'll keep an eye out. He does say something to the effect of "You never could beat me" to Lo Pan.

lol How'd you know? Anyway believe it or not slutty women are more apt to get STDs than the chaste. And what am I to do when the sluts simply don't, uh, inspire me? Also why do you care? Why can't you respect people that aren't exactly like you? It's narrow minded and intolerant, no?
Also FYI the big unit doesn't do as much as you might think. IMO the best it does, and this is not a minor thing, is help one avoid the mental issues that less endowed men go through, which I find to be absolutely horrible. The other thing it does is keep women coming back. When women find it they keep the info to themselves so no word of mouth, and every man acts as if his is ginormous so no amount of honesty is believed. I just walk away from such discussions.

Gotchya thanks. Indeed i can't find anything to back up his claims. It's a shame that this is the case. Gonna stop watching his vids but I'll leave this thread up so that others can learn about him also.
