No this was painfully obvious. We got what we did not ask for or want in the last film. I already commented that the franchise cannot possibly move forward now. Especially with the supposed relacement who is an uncharismatic dufus. The franchise has much better chance continuing with the black woman than trying to reboot. Fans like me will never come back. You speak for me and a lot of other fans. Hard to reboot from here, especially in this woke age. you have better odds of success sticking to the black woman 007 film series- which nobody asked for and we got. So now what? Golden Goose is cooked. Why would you say that? They would most likely try a lame attempt at a prequel, set in the 60's right? Look at yet another prequel for Star Trek. The Bond franchise has nowhere to go but back to the beginning. I will accept that Fani! thank you so much :) I have seen STTMP dozens of times. I never noticed this but will check it out on next watch. To me, STTMP is a masterpiece and still the best in the series. Great answer! I agree with you, but I still find this moment not well thought out. On killing/cloning... I think the Original Series addressed this, Plato's Stepchildren - Kirk says matter and energy are now interchangeable. Meaning there is no killing. Haha yes yes...but there are all kinds of technical manuals and facts. I just don't get the scale of the ships. haha :) who? not really. I did. As a lad of 8 I was incredibly disappointed as I was expecting the colorful and fun action of the TV series on endless repeat. Action, Fights, Space Battles, Romance and FUN. Also, everyone was Star Wars crazy and Battlestar Galactica was on tv weekly with fast paced action. I did not appreciate the serious and cerebral tone of Star Trek: The Motion Picture until I grew up and could appreciate this film. Now I view Star Trek: The Motion Picture as a masterpiece. You are right about Season 3 and 4 being the best. Funny how that seems to be the case in many series. Star Trek the Next Generation being the best example that comes to mind. Thank you so much for this GREAT website. So sad about Robin's Nest, but oh-well...progress. haha well-said! although high school play maybe also too generous. What about him? that little kid is all skin and bones! A loaf of bread weighs more. Just grab him you dope. You sir, Have GREAT TASTE :) Dalton is very British and belongs more on TV. He should be in a TV-remake of British Series Avengers where he belongs. He is more charismatic and rugged than Brosnan (not saying much), but just not leading man material. I agree - meh. Craig is the best after Connery. You must be angered after the two frustrating dry -turds Spectre and the unforgivable No Time to Die (franchise killer). I know I am. Weird reply Kane, but thanks for taking the time...I think! haha Happy Holidays Thanks for the comment! Hey I subscribed to your review! Great work, you have presence and charisma with interesting insights.... you should MAKE MORE reviews. What do you think really happend then? Thank you Ranb for this great response :) well said!
