The show didn't capture the essence of the games: Fallouts were comedies!

Dark-Humor-Tongue-in-Cheek was the essence of the games, it separates Fallout from other post-apocalyptic games: Rage, Wasteland, Metro, Mad Max…

The show was dead serious. Fallout without dark humor is like Mcdonald without fries, it's the most important product to the brands, without the products the brands become meaningless.

PS. The show was boring.

What did I tell you!

Now you know people saying it was a comedy were either lying or have serious issues.

BASED ON ONE INCORRECT POST?...NOPE.

I DISAGREE...THE SHOW WAS DEFINITELY TONGUE IN CHEEK DARK HUMOR.

I agree with your disagree

Yes, I can't believe some people didn't get that.

I usually skip the fries and just get multiple burgers.
The fries are always cold a minute after being dispensed due to the large surface area to volume ratio they have

Did we watch the same show? Because it was quite tongue-in-cheek and packed with over the top violence. Even Tim Cain was impressed by how well it captures the spirit of the game.

Did you play any Fallout game? The games are absurd and ridiculous. And the praise from the creator means nothing, because adaptations help sell their original works, most creators wouldn't bad mouth adaptations… beside Alan Moore.

Yes, the Wasteland is harsh, but definitely far away from e.g. Mad Max. Already in episode 1 you see Lucy first having humping like there is no tomorrow and then jump on a killing spree. The whole raider attack on Vault 33 is gory, but more as a joke like a pregnant fury woman cleaning up or the fad guy escaping.
Also everything about Maximus outside the brotherhood is more a long joke as anything else.
