I Thought the movie cost close to 300 million? Now I see it cost around 220 million on Wikipedia. I'm wondering now if they're going to make another are just going to leave it at seven movies?

shareGenerally you need box office at least twice of budget to break even, if it is 220 million, then it is going to be fine.
Also the second part is already 2/3 way through filming.
They have one more movie in the works, which already started production before this movie got released I believe

Well, they pretty well backed themselves into a corner with the whole Part 1 stuff, so you'll see another one at some point after the strike is over

Apparently McQuarrie was shooting this before they had a completed script. That’s a particularly stupid idea when you’re attempting a 2 part movie.
Why do they do this..? 🤷🏻♂️
